
The GMS talent show was on fire today! These performers wowed the crowd with their amazing talents. There was even a surprise teacher act. Thanks to the "Talent Show Club" for organizing this event throughout the school year. Parents- drop your pictures in the comments!











It has been awhile since we have shared an update on the GMS Cafeteria Renovation project. We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Goshen Education Foundation for their generous financial support towards new inclusive lighting of cafeteria space. Please stay tuned because we have more additions coming to this incredible space and more businesses to thank as the we continue to make improvements. ❤️









For the past several months students and staff members have been collaborating to paint an Autism Awareness mural in Mrs. Mirus’s classroom at Goshen Middle School. Today, they finally finished the mural and were very excited to see the final results. Mrs. Mirus said “This has been an incredible project that has given our staff and students the opportunity to work together towards a common goal while educating others about the importance of Autism Awareness.” Thank you to all of the magnificent Warriors who participated in this wonderful project. Job well done!


Thank you to our GMS middle school students who attended and participated in the High Aimes Leadership Conference yesterday with Mrs. Dorazio. Way to represent Goshen!









A heartfelt thank you to the amazing students and staff from GMS who presented at tonight’s Goshen Board of Education meeting. They shared the many ways our middle school students have given back through community service and service learning projects this year. We are so proud of their hard work- way to "Warrior Up!"


The GMS fishing club experienced a beautiful morning out on the lake today!







Goshen Middle School’s Leo Club was honored with a national award for their work in community service. Today each charter member was recognized through a pinning ceremony. We are so very proud of our Leo Club members and all of their hard work this year.

Ms. Shelanskey and a group of 8th grade GMS students got to join the highschool at Warren County Fairgrounds for ACI’s annual Construction Career day! Students operated equipment, met with companies, learned about project management and safety!

Mrs. Mirus’s Tribe at GMS enjoyed a phenomenal weather presentation from Goshen Middle School’s meteorologist Chance Labanz this morning! Chance will be visiting different classrooms throughout the month to present forecasts!




GMS students enjoyed a Luau dance to kick off spring break last week. We would like to thank our wonderful PTO for the beautiful decorations! Students had a blast dancing to music by DJ Ulrey (thank you Mike!) and snow cones from Kona Ice!











The Easter Bunny made a special visit to GMS students today! Everyone was super "hoppy" to see him! 🐰











The Goshen Middle School Leo Club had a very eggciting day hosting Mrs. Burns’s full day preschool class from Marr Cook Elementary for a Sunshine and Springtime event. All of the kids enjoyed several activities including an egg hunt, cookie decorating, craft making, games and more. The students also had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny as well. A fun time was had by everybody. Thank you to all who made this event a phenomenal success!











Officer Groves and Officer Alcorn came to visit Mrs. Mirus and Mr. Hines’s Tribes this morning. They spoke about the importance of making good choices and school safety. Our kids greatly enjoyed their visit and had a wonderful discussion. Goshen Local Schools is so fortunate to have Officer Groves and Officer Alcorn as their School Resource Officers. They always go above and beyond to make positive connections with all of our students, staff and community members. Thank you for everything you do for our schools!






Bob Ross and Bob Ross 2 stopped by GMS today to check out the amazing paint job in the cafeteria. Looks a little like Mrs. Mirus and Mrs. Mink to us!

GMS students really enjoyed watching the Goshen High School Color Guard today! What an amazing performance!











Last Friday, GMS students competed in a Teachers vs. Students 3x3 basketball tournament fundraiser! What an exciting event it was to watch! The teachers and students ended up with a tiebreaker resulting in the students taking the win! Thank you to the PTO and Mrs. Velagic for helping organize this event!











We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers who are taking time to create such an inviting atmosphere for our GMS cafeteria makeover. Our students have been so excited throughout this entire process and are always eager to see the progress each week. Thank you to all who have a helping hand with this project. It is amazing to see so many people coming together to work towards a common goal. It’s always a great day to be a Warrior!
