Goshen Middle School Band students had an amazing time last night performing at the Spring Band Concert. They have worked very hard learning their music and it was a treat to hear their showcase last night!

Facility dog, Meg, went to visit our incredible bus drivers before their afternoon shift started today! This will be a new weekly routine to spread the love. The GMS Fishing Club enjoyed the pond right here on campus today. They didn't catch any fish, but managed to catch a beautiful sunrise.
Today, GMS 8th grade students attended the Junior Achievement, "Inspire to Hire" field trip. Junior Achievement is a program designed to get middle and high school students excited about their futures by exploring career opportunities. Students met professionals and skilled tradespeople who spoke about their careers and what it takes to become qualified. It was a wonderful learning opportunity!
Phase 1 of the GMS cafeteria makeover has taken off! Mrs. Mirus, Mrs. Mink, Mrs. Dorazio, and Ms. Sonia worked hard over the weekend, painting the cafe walls to bring their vision to life! They even recruited some of their sweet kiddos to help out! We can’t wait to see the finished results!
Goshen Middle School would like to give a big thank you to Jessica Bogie for being the guest speaker in Mrs. DeNu’s Career Tech class today! She spoke with our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders about what it takes to become an attorney, sharing valuable insights and advice. Jessica has generously volunteered her time each quarter this school year, and we truly appreciate her dedication to our students!
Goshen Middle School would like to thank Coach Matt Smallwood for nine incredible years of dedication to our middle school basketball program! With an impressive 154 wins and just 9 losses, he led our teams to 7 Conference Championships and 2 Runner-Up finishes—a truly legendary record! As he retires from middle school coaching, we celebrate his achievements and his lasting impact on our students. He has truly made a difference. More than the victories, Coach Smallwood’s greatest influence has been his mentorship to the kids- teaching teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. While we will miss his passion on the court, he is excited for his next role—cheering from the stands as a proud basketball parent as his youngest heads to high school. Congratulations on an outstanding career, Coach! Thank you for everything!
The GHS Goshen News Network and GMS Warrior Watch cast had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2nd annual Content Creators Convention at Clermont College. It was an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and even a chance to explore the campus. A special highlight was seeing two of the presenters—Goshen alumni Brenna and Madison—sharing their expertise. We are so proud of you both! #GoshenPride

GMS hosted their annual Winter Pep Assembly House Battle, and it was an exciting day for our students! Winter sports athletes and student clubs were recognized for their hard work and dedication. (Honor roll and attendance were celebrated earlier in the week at house assemblies.)
Students and teachers brought the energy as they competed in fun relay games to earn points for their house! It was a fantastic way to celebrate school spirit!
In this activity, GMS students in Mrs.Clark‘s class are simulating pledging their loyalties to the social classes above them under the feudal system in the Middle Ages.

A huge shoutout to our amazing School Resource Officers, Officer Groves and Officer Alcorn, for joining the Goshen Middle School Career Tech class as guest speakers today! It’s incredible to learn about the extensive training that goes into keeping our schools safe.
Our officers are truly dedicated to building relationships with students, ensuring they always have someone to turn to. Students also had the opportunity to interview them and gain insight into a career in law enforcement.

GMS students in the Harvard house won the 2nd quarter reward and got to attend a field trip to the movies today! There are 5 houses that all students are divided into. They compete each quarter for the reward based on GPA, attendance, Warrior way cards, and miscellaneous competitions!
The Goshen Middle School Leo Club enjoyed their official pinning ceremony this morning. We are so incredibly proud of our Leo (Leadership, Experience, Opportunity) members. They do a great job serving our community. Great job Warriors!
