Eighth-grade students at GMS had an exciting opportunity to visit the Live Oaks Career Center yesterday. They enjoyed exploring the various booths and learning about the different programs available. It’s amazing to think that, if they choose to attend, they'll be starting there in just three short years!

GMS students in Ms. Middick's club have been sharpening their tennis swings and getting active on the court! In addition to sports, her tribe has been embracing the season by creating festive fall decorations.

Students in the GMS Taylor Swift Club painted pumpkins on club day! We hope they shimmer!!

The GMS fishing club met this morning and ventured over to Stagge-Marr Park in hopes of a big catch! It was a beautiful morning to watch the sunrise!

GMS students in Mr. Emerine's class launched rockets that they hand-made and painted. It was a "blast" for all!

GMS Career Tech students in Mrs. DeNu's class would like to thank Jen Kiblinger, President of Circle Tail Inc., for being a guest speaker today! Students participated in a service project of creating dog toys and bandanas for the service and facility dogs at Circle Tail. (Project was originally started by Judy Wilson and carried on). Circle Tail is the organization who trained and provided Goshen with all 3 of our district's facility dogs (Meg, Artis, Rolyn). The students were eager to gift the toys that they made and "Bara" our guest dog speaker, was happy to accept them! Thank you for your continued partnership Jen and Circle Tail! #circletail #facilitydog

Goshen Middle School students & parents- tomorrow is the LAST DAY for the book fair! It will also be open during parent-teacher conferences. Please send money with your kiddo tomorrow if they wish to purchase something or stop in after your conference! Thanks!

A glimpse into the daily life of a Goshen Middle School student...

GMS Students in Mrs. Mirus’s class enjoyed putting some life skills to practice by doing laundry and making brownies. Way to Warrior Up!

Did you notice the campus looking especially pristine on Friday? GMS students participated in their annual "Campus Clean-Up" service learning project led by Ms. Brooke Whitley. Students helped out our maintenance department by picking up any and all trash around the stadium and surrounding areas! Way to go!

What a morning! GMS had campus clean-up, a pep rally with the high school, and an epic "pie in the face" for our fundraiser winner! Tucker Shaub chose to pie his mom- Amanda (who works at GMS) and also Mr. Downey! They teamed up and got Tucker back with his own pie in the face!

There were a lot of great shoes! Winners were voted on in each class by the students. Winners are: 1st block- Sam Butsch, 2nd block- Kelsey Peters, 3rd block- Liam Wohlfrom.

Yesterday at GMS, Ms. Edwards’ and Mrs. Mowry‘s ELA classes enjoyed a hot chocolate book buffet. The room overflowed with coziness as they perused different books using suspense to convince the reader to flip the page and see what happens next. While reviewing books, they enjoyed hot chocolate and snacks. Thanks to all of the parents who donated so generously.
